Connect CrowdPass with Microsoft Teams
Deliver CrowdPass event data into Microsoft Teams channels and cards
For organizations already running on Microsoft 365, pushing CrowdPass event data into Teams keeps everything inside the tools your staff already use. Adaptive Cards give rich, interactive previews of registrations and check-ins that your team can act on without opening another tab.
Automations you can build
Each registration generates a visually rich Adaptive Card in your Teams channel showing the attendee's photo, ticket type, and custom field responses. Team members can click through to the CrowdPass attendee profile directly from the card.
NFC badge taps at entry gates push real-time check-in messages to your event-day Teams channel. The message includes the attendee name, check-in timestamp, and gate location so your on-site team can track flow across multiple entrances.
When a booth representative scans an attendee's NFC badge, the lead's contact info and interests are sent as a personal Teams chat to the assigned sales rep. The rep can immediately start a Teams conversation or schedule a follow-up meeting.
Every ticket purchase triggers a Teams message with ticket type, price, and buyer details. Finance and event leadership can watch revenue build in real time from the Teams desktop or mobile app.
How event teams use this
Enterprise conference coordination
A Fortune 500 company runs its annual customer summit through CrowdPass. Registration data flows into a private Teams channel visible only to the events team. Adaptive Cards display attendee tier (customer, prospect, partner) so staff can prioritize badge printing and swag allocation before arrival day.
Multi-department event visibility
Marketing, sales, and customer success each have their own Teams channel receiving filtered CrowdPass data. Marketing sees registration volume, sales sees lead captures, and CS sees which existing customers checked in. Each team acts on their slice without information overload.
On-site incident escalation
When NFC badge scans reveal a session room is nearing 90% capacity, a Teams alert fires to the facilities channel with an Adaptive Card showing room name, current count, and max capacity. The facilities team can open overflow rooms before the fire marshal gets involved.
