Connect CrowdPass to Webex
Bridge Webex virtual events and CrowdPass in-person management for seamless enterprise hybrid experiences
Enterprise organizations that standardize on Cisco Webex for virtual events need their in-person event platform to speak the same language. Connecting CrowdPass to Webex means registration data flows bidirectionally: Webex event registrants get CrowdPass badges provisioned, and CrowdPass in-person attendees receive Webex meeting links for virtual session tracks. Recording access can be gated to verified attendees, and Webex Spaces can be auto-populated with event participants for post-event collaboration.
Automations you can build
When someone registers for a Webex Event or Webinar, a CrowdPass attendee record is created with their profile data. Badge credentials and NFC access permissions are provisioned immediately, so virtual registrants who later decide to attend in person already have their access ready.
On-site check-in triggers automatic addition to a Webex Space dedicated to the event. Attendees can continue conversations, access shared resources, and network with other participants through the Webex Space long after the event concludes.
When a Webex session recording becomes available, CrowdPass attendee records are updated with the replay link. Organizers can gate recording access to verified attendees only, using CrowdPass check-in status as the access control layer.
How event teams use this
Enterprise all-hands with distributed workforce
A Fortune 500 company hosts a quarterly all-hands for 10,000 employees — 2,000 at headquarters and 8,000 joining via Webex. CrowdPass manages NFC badge access for the on-site audience and tracks session attendance across physical breakout rooms. Webex handles the livestream and virtual breakouts. The Zapier connection ensures the internal events team has one attendance report covering both groups, with engagement metrics for each session regardless of delivery format.
Persistent collaboration spaces from event check-ins
A technology consortium runs an annual summit. Every attendee who checks in via CrowdPass is automatically added to a Webex Space for their chosen track — "AI & Machine Learning," "Cloud Infrastructure," or "Security." During the event, speakers share slides and resources in the Space. After the event, attendees continue discussions, share implementations, and plan follow-up meetups. The Webex Space becomes a lasting community asset seeded by event attendance data from CrowdPass.
