When attendees submit headshots, company logos, or session slides through CrowdPass forms, Zapier uploads the files to Cloudinary. Automated transformations resize images for badge printing, generate web-optimized thumbnails, and normalize file formats — all in a single upload step.
Each new event registration creates an organized Cloudinary folder tagged with the event name, date, and attendee tier. As media assets are uploaded throughout the event lifecycle, they route to the correct folder with searchable metadata.
When an attendee taps their NFC badge at check-in, Zapier generates a Cloudinary URL that dynamically overlays the attendee's name and company onto a branded badge background image. The on-site print station pulls this URL to produce the badge instantly.
After an NFC badge scan, Zapier tags the lead's previously uploaded headshot in Cloudinary with the exhibitor's name and booth number. Post-event, exhibitors can search Cloudinary by their booth tag to find photos of every lead they captured.

A conference with 5,000 attendees prints badges on-site as attendees check in. CrowdPass registration data and uploaded headshots are stored in Cloudinary. At NFC check-in, Zapier generates a Cloudinary transformation URL that composites the attendee's photo, name, and company onto the event badge template. The print station fetches the URL and prints the badge in under 10 seconds — no pre-printed badge stock required.
Multi-format sponsor asset delivery
Sponsors submit a single high-resolution logo through CrowdPass. Cloudinary automatically generates every size needed: 200px for the event app, 1200px for the LED wall, CMYK for the printed program, and a white-on-transparent version for dark backgrounds. The design team pulls assets by Cloudinary tag instead of manually resizing logos for each deliverable.

Log in to Zapier
Go to zapier.com and search for "CrowdPass" in the app directory. Connect your CrowdPass account using your API key from Settings > Integrations.
Choose your trigger
Select a CrowdPass trigger event: new registration, attendee check-in, NFC badge scan, lead capture, or form submission. Each trigger sends full attendee data.
Map your action
Choose the destination app and configure what happens. Map CrowdPass fields (name, email, ticket type, custom questions) to the app's fields. Test and activate.
