Connect CrowdPass with Autopilot

Design visual attendee journeys from CrowdPass events in Autopilot

Autopilot's canvas-based journey builder turns event interactions into visual multi-step automations. Drag CrowdPass triggers onto the canvas, add time delays, conditions based on ticket type or session attendance, and branch into different email, SMS, or task paths. The entire attendee lifecycle is visible in one diagram that non-technical marketers can build and modify.

Automations you can build

TriggerNew attendee registration in CrowdPass
ActionAdd a contact to an Autopilot journey

Registration enrolls the contact in a pre-event journey that sends logistics emails, speaker highlights, and a personalized agenda. Smart segments separate VIP and general attendees into different journey branches from the start.

TriggerAttendee checks in at event
ActionTrigger an Autopilot journey step

NFC check-in activates the "day-of" phase of the attendee journey. The contact moves from the pre-event branch to the live-event branch, receiving a welcome message with Wi-Fi details, venue map, and session recommendations based on their registration interests.

TriggerLead captured at exhibitor booth
ActionAdd a contact to an Autopilot smart segment

Badge scans place leads into exhibitor-specific smart segments. Each segment feeds a separate journey branch with sponsor-branded follow-up content. Organizers give sponsors visibility into their journey's open and click rates through shared Autopilot reports.

TriggerCustom form submitted in CrowdPass
ActionUpdate an Autopilot contact field

Post-event surveys update custom fields on the Autopilot contact profile. Journey conditions check these fields to decide the next step: satisfied attendees receive early-bird offers for the next event, while dissatisfied attendees enter a feedback resolution path.

How event teams use this

Marketing Manager

Visual pre-to-post event journey

A marketing team maps the entire attendee lifecycle on the Autopilot canvas: registration triggers a 5-email pre-event series, NFC check-in starts day-of logistics messages, booth scans branch into sponsor content paths, and post-event survey responses determine the final nurture track. The visual canvas makes it easy for the team to spot gaps and optimize timing.

Event Marketing Coordinator

Smart segment retargeting for no-shows

After a conference, Autopilot smart segments automatically separate attendees from no-shows based on CrowdPass check-in data. No-shows enter a re-engagement journey with session recordings and a discount code for the next event. The organizer recovers 18% of no-shows as registrants for the follow-up event.
