Connect CrowdPass with DocuSign
Automate event agreements and waivers with CrowdPass + DocuSign via Zapier
Eliminate the paper chase before, during, and after events. When attendees register in CrowdPass, Zapier sends DocuSign envelopes with liability waivers, NDAs, or exhibitor contracts pre-filled with their registration data. Signed documents route back to the right folders automatically, so your legal and operations teams have every signature on file before badge pickup.
Automations you can build
Each registration triggers a DocuSign envelope containing your event waiver or terms of attendance, pre-filled with the attendee's name, email, and company. The attendee signs electronically before arriving, and CrowdPass records the signature status.
When an exhibitor submits a booth agreement through a CrowdPass form, Zapier creates a DocuSign envelope with the contract, adds the exhibitor and your event director as signers, and routes it for sequential signing with all form data pre-populated.
When an attendee signs their waiver in DocuSign, Zapier updates their CrowdPass profile to mark the waiver as completed. On-site staff see the signature status on the attendee's badge record, enabling waiver verification at NFC check-in.
After an NFC badge scan at a booth, Zapier sends the captured lead a DocuSign envelope with a pilot agreement or order form pre-filled with their contact details and the exhibitor's terms. Deals start moving before the event ends.
How event teams use this
Pre-event waiver automation
A fitness expo requires every attendee to sign a liability waiver. CrowdPass registration triggers a DocuSign envelope with the waiver pre-filled with the attendee's details. Unsigned waivers trigger reminder emails through Zapier. On event day, NFC check-in verifies signature status — attendees who haven't signed are directed to a kiosk to complete the process before entering the floor.
Exhibitor contract pipeline
An event organizer manages 150 exhibitor contracts for a trade show. When exhibitors register through CrowdPass and select their booth package, Zapier sends a DocuSign contract with the correct terms, pricing, and booth assignments pre-filled. Both parties sign electronically, and the completed contract is stored in the exhibitor's CrowdPass record. The events team tracks signature status from the CrowdPass dashboard.
On-site NDA signing for restricted sessions
A pharmaceutical conference has restricted sessions requiring NDAs. When an attendee scans their NFC badge at the session entrance, CrowdPass checks their signature status. If the NDA is unsigned, Zapier immediately sends a DocuSign envelope to the attendee's phone. They sign on the spot and gain session access within minutes.
