Connect CrowdPass to Copper CRM
Get event leads inside the Gmail inbox where your team already manages relationships
Copper is the CRM for teams that live in Google Workspace and don't want to context-switch to a separate sales tool. Because Copper surfaces relationship data as a sidebar in Gmail, connecting CrowdPass means event leads appear right where your team is already working. When a rep opens an email from a conference contact, the Copper sidebar shows that person's badge scan history, which sessions they attended, and the Deal created from their booth visit — without leaving Gmail. For Google-centric teams, this is the lowest-friction path from badge scan to follow-up email.
Automations you can build
Booth scans create a Copper Person record with event tags and interaction notes. The next time the rep emails this person, the Copper sidebar in Gmail automatically shows their profile — including the booth conversation notes and event details. No need to search the CRM; the context appears where the conversation happens.
Alongside the Person record, the Zap creates an Opportunity in Copper's pipeline with the event as the source. Copper automatically links the Opportunity to the Person and their Company. The rep manages the deal from Gmail's sidebar or Google Calendar, where upcoming follow-up meetings show the full deal context.
Event registrations create Person records tagged with the event name. If the person is already in Copper, the Zap adds an Activity Log entry noting their registration. Before the event, reps can filter People by event tag in Copper and send personalized outreach through Gmail with full CRM context in the sidebar.
How event teams use this
Gmail-native event lead follow-up
A consulting firm's partners attend an industry gala and scan badges of prospects they speak with. Each scan creates a Copper Person and Opportunity. The next morning, when a partner opens Gmail to write a follow-up email, the Copper sidebar shows the prospect's details, the conversation notes from the event, and the Opportunity stage. The partner composes a personalized follow-up referencing their conversation — all without opening a separate CRM tab. Copper logs the sent email as an Activity on the Opportunity automatically.
Google Calendar meeting prep with event context
A business development rep scans 30 badges at a fintech conference. The Zap creates Copper People and schedules follow-up calls as Google Calendar events. When the rep opens each calendar event, the Copper integration shows the person's profile: their company, role, the booth they visited, and notes about what they discussed. The rep prepares for each call in 30 seconds instead of five minutes because all the context is embedded in their existing tools.
