Connect CrowdPass to Tealium

Feed in-person event signals into Tealium's universal data layer for enterprise-grade audience orchestration

Tealium is the data infrastructure behind many of the world's largest brands, managing billions of events per day across web, mobile, IoT, and server-side sources. In-person events have been the missing input: high-value interactions that happen offline and never reach the data layer. Connecting CrowdPass to Tealium adds event attendance, badge scans, and lead captures to the same universal data layer that powers your website tags, mobile SDK, and server-side integrations. Tealium AudienceStream processes these signals in real time, updating visitor profiles and triggering connector actions across your entire marketing technology stack.

Automations you can build

TriggerAttendee checked in
ActionSend event to Tealium EventStream

Check-ins send server-side events to Tealium EventStream with standardized attributes: event name, session, venue, check-in method, and attendee identifiers. EventStream processes these alongside your web and mobile events, applying enrichment rules and feeding the data into AudienceStream for profile building. Every downstream connector receives the event according to your existing orchestration rules.

Registrations update the visitor profile in AudienceStream with event-specific attributes: registered events, ticket tier, registration date, and session preferences. AudienceStream badges (computed traits) can automatically tag the profile — for example, "High-Value Event Attendee" for anyone who has registered for three or more events. These badges flow to all connected tools via Tealium's 1,300+ connectors.

ActionTrigger Tealium connector action

Booth captures trigger a Tealium connector action that routes the lead data to your CRM, email platform, and ad platforms simultaneously. Tealium's connector marketplace means you configure the routing once and the data reaches Salesforce, Marketo, Google Ads, and Meta Ads in parallel — no separate Zaps needed for each destination once the data is in Tealium.

ActionAdd to Tealium audience

Check-in events trigger audience membership updates in AudienceStream. Real-time audiences like "Checked In Today" or "Attended VIP Session" are built from CrowdPass signals and synced to ad platforms, personalization engines, and messaging tools within seconds. Attendees experience coordinated cross-channel messaging powered by their in-person behavior.

How event teams use this

Enterprise marketing technology director

Enterprise-scale event data orchestration

A global technology company runs 200 events per year across 30 countries. All events use CrowdPass for registration and NFC check-in. Event data flows into Tealium EventStream, where enrichment rules standardize regional field variations and AudienceStream builds unified attendee profiles. The company's Tealium instance already connects to 85 marketing and analytics tools. Event data reaches all 85 tools without any new integration work — the data team added CrowdPass as a source, and Tealium's existing orchestration handled the rest. The CMO can now see event engagement alongside digital engagement in every tool across the stack.

Real-time personalization triggered by physical presence

A retail brand hosts an in-store product launch event across 50 locations simultaneously. CrowdPass NFC check-ins stream into Tealium in real time. AudienceStream creates a "Product Launch Attendee" audience that syncs to the brand's web personalization tool and mobile push platform. Attendees who open the brand app during the event see a personalized notification with an exclusive offer. Those who visit the website within 24 hours see a homepage banner featuring the product they experienced in person. The real-time audience built from physical check-ins powers digital personalization across channels within minutes.
