Uber required a comprehensive event management solution that could handle every aspect of the attendee journey. With multiple guest categories and venue access levels, Uber needed an efficient way to identify attendee types and distribute the appropriate wristbands upon arrival.
With CrowdPass, Uber was able to create a custom-branded registration page that was distributed to eligible Uber One members throughout the New York City area. Invited guests were able to register and claim up to two tickets — one for themselves and one for a guest.
Once registered, attendees received digital tickets via email, which could be conveniently added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy access on event day.
At the venue, brand ambassadors utilized CrowdPass handheld scanners to quickly scan attendee and guest QR codes. Upon check-in, IDs were verified and guests were issued color-coded wristbands corresponding to their registration category and designated venue access areas.
This process enabled staff to efficiently identify guest access levels while maintaining a fast-moving entry experience. The combination of digital ticketing, QR code scanning, and wristband assignment helped create a seamless and organized arrival process.
As weather conditions changed and rain began shortly after doors opened, Uber needed a fast and reliable way to communicate important event updates to attendees.
Using CrowdPass, Uber quickly sent an email blast to all registered attendees confirming that the event was taking place indoors and providing any necessary event-day updates. This allowed the team to keep guests informed, reduce uncertainty, and ensure a smooth arrival experience despite the inclement weather.
CrowdPass provided Uber with an all-in-one event management platform that combined registration, attendee tracking, communications, and onsite operations into a single solution. By eliminating the need for multiple systems and manual processes, Uber was able to efficiently manage a high-profile event while maintaining a premium attendee experience.
