More than 25 years ago, ITSMF founders began “Answering the Challenge” of how to increase the representation of Black executives in technology. Today, we continue to provide the space and support for Black technology executives to grow and shine, professionally and personally, while also mentoring the next generation for success.

Last year, we focused on our “Reboot.” We took the time to re-Imagine everything and reboot our thinking, our priorities, and our aspirations. Now, it’s time to take the next step by Answering the Challenge with fresh perspectives, renewed energy, and extraordinary commitment. It will take a convergence of mind, body, and soul to accomplish big goals and create meaningful, enduring change.

Answering the Challenge is bigger than each of us individually. As ITSMF members, we must defy conventional thinking and come together to do the hard work while preparing our companies and colleagues to do critical work as well. It’s also up to us to inspire non-Black tech professionals to answer the challenge and support our collective efforts to champion lasting change. Help drive the vision for a more inclusive world by attending ITSMF’s first symposium of 2023 (S1-23) on May 4-6.
