CarFax set out to create a memorable, interactive experience for dealerships attending the NADA Conference in Las Vegas. The goal was to go beyond a traditional booth setup and deliver a personalized, engaging activation that celebrated dealership achievements while driving foot traffic and excitement.


Custom Branded NFC wristbands were paired to each attendee and used for the custom tap activation station
attendee's tapped their NFC wristbands to the CrowdReader and a custom congratulatory message then displayed on the LED wall with the attendee's dealership name and different backgrounds to celebrate their dealers and 5X dealers.
Attendees showed up with their CrowdPass QR code and the QR code was scanned to find the attendee and then an NFC wristband was paired

CrowdPass developed a custom NFC-powered activation that seamlessly blended physical touchpoints with digital recognition.
Ahead of the conference, custom CrowdPass QR codes were mailed to CarFax dealerships, inviting them to visit the CarFax booth during the event. Upon arrival, each attendee was issued a custom-branded CarFax NFC wristband, which was paired to them using the CrowdPass Mobile App.
At the booth, attendees tapped their NFC wristbands on the CrowdPass CrowdReader. Each tap triggered a dynamic animation on a large LED wall behind them, displaying a congratulatory message along with the name of the attendee’s dealership.
Graphics were personalized based on dealership achievements, with special visual treatments and awards presented to recognized 5X dealerships. This real-time recognition created a celebratory moment that was both interactive and highly shareable, drawing attention from nearby attendees and enhancing booth engagement.
